The Role of a Domestic Couple
Domestic couples are employed to fulfil various roles within
a private home. They can run a home on their own (being the
sole staff employed), or form part of a larger team either
to manage or work alongside other staff.
The duties they can cover are many and varied - typical job
titles include but are not limited to those detailed below:

Points to consider

Couples are generally looking to commit to an employer
for an absolute minimum of two years, a large number state
they are looking for five to ten years.

Couples will however, need to have self-contained accommodation
provided by the employer. Some do have their own furniture,
whilst others may require a furnished property.

Couples generally like to take their annual leave together.
Salaries
Salaries for couples can range widely from £550+ per
week net for an average Gardener / Handyman and Housekeeper
in the country, to around £1,500+ per week net for a
top Butler / Chauffeur and Housekeeper / Cook in Central
London.
An average London based domestic couple will be looking at a salary of £650 and £850 per week net.
